NBN Advice & Support
The National Biodiversity Network has a simple philosophy – “Sharing Information about Wildlife”
The Network itself however, is a collaborative project and one which can, at times, appear confusing. However, help is now at hand!
A specific area of the new NBN information website, currently under development, will be created to provide Advice & Support for users or interested parties. This online resource will explain the various aspects of the Network and will also contain documented guidance for the standards which it has produced and advocates.
Created in easy to follow chapters the Advice & Support area wil guide you through the original concept of the Network, the resources available to users today and information on a wide range of data related topics including management and standards.
Whilst this is an online resource, if there are any sections which are of particular interest, it will be possible to create a PDF of the relevant pages and save or print them out as required.
Until ths site is set up the NBN Trust Secretariat is always happy to provide general information or advice and can be contacted through the Contacts page
For help or advice & support relating to the NBN Gateway e-mail gateway@nbn.org.uk
There is also an area for discussion, which members from many different organisations use to exchange ideas and give help and advice. Register today at http://forums.nbn.org.uk/ and join the debate!
