To help improve accuracy of species sightings, the NBN provides a number of resources to those involved in biological recording and the exchange of data, free of charge or at a greatly reduced cost.

Also if you require a quick and easy method of adding a map to your own site there is a useful widget you can use. This link takes you to a pdf that tells you how to get it working. This widget helps you produce a live NBN map on your own website in one line of HTML. This is an order of magnitude simpler than trying to use the web services directly.
