New Biodiversity Data Management Tools Workshop, 20th March 2012

Following the success of the biodiversity data management tools workshops that were held in Edinburgh and London last year, the NBN Trust is organising another workshop on Tuesday 20th March in Birmingham.

If you were unable to attend the workshops last year, this is another chance to take part in hands-on interactive sessions to learn about Indicia, the NBN Gateway and Record Cleaner.   However, the workshop in March also includes a lot of brand new content, with demonstrations of new tools and software for the management of habitat and land use data, the use of web services in Local Record Centre applications and a variety of systems for online data management.

The training venue is the Enterprise Suite on the 9th floor of Centre City Tower in Birmingham, which has first class facilities and is just five minutes’ walk from New Street Station.

As before, attendance at the workshop is free of charge, but places are limited and booking is essential.

The final programme and online booking system is now available in the Events and Training section.  Please contact Paula Lightfoot if you would like any further information.

This event is funded through the Defra contract for the development of the National Biodiversity Network.
