Defra Fund Project 4 update

UPDATE – DEFRA Fund Project 4 now inviting applications

An invitation to apply for funding under Project 4 of the Defra Fund for Biodiversity Recording in the Voluntary sector has been posted on the Natural England website. This contains details of what is covered, how to apply and how bids will be evaluated. An invitation to tender for Project 3 of the Defra Fund for Biodiversity Recording in the Voluntary Sector has now been posted on Natural England BRAVO system (05/12). The return deadline is 9th January 2013. This is the third instalment of the fund and follows previous work focused on structured surveillance and capacity building. Pending final approval, an invitation to tender for Project 3 of the Defra Fund for Biodiversity Recording in the Voluntary Sector will be posted on the Natural England BRAVO website in the coming weeks.    This will be the third instalment of the fund and follows previous work focused on structured surveillance and capacity building.

Project 3 will focus on verification and improving data flow. We would encourage, in addition to bids from single suppliers, small collaborative bids either led by a National Scheme/Society working with one of more Local Record Centres or led by a Local Record Centre working with one or more National Scheme/Society.
