A 2-day QGIS course for ecologists & conservation practitioners

Always wanted to become a GIS user but just not found the time to get going? This course is designed to get you rapidly to a ‘competent user’ level from which to build your own wider skills base.

Cost:     £275 for a 2-day course (no VAT charge)

Venue:  Gloucester

Tutor:    Dr Mark O'Connell

The course is designed to teach you how to operate a GIS competently. But importantly it will also show you how to use a GIS to actually analyse your ecological data and derive useful information from it  i.e. to use GIS as part of your ecological or conservation work.

See the QGIS training brochure for further details of the course content. The training uses Quantum GIS software – now an industry standard in the ecological, conservation and consultancy sectors.

Three 2-day QGIS courses are available on the following dates in 2014

      7-8 October

      4-5 November

      9-10 December
